Research On Data Broadcasting Scheme Based On Object Carousel

With the development of the digital technology, network technology and multimedia technology, the broadcasting television system is developing to all-round digitized direction. The digitized broadcasting television network can transfer not only the video and audio information but also the multimedia information including image, short message and data, such as the internet information, not-real time video program, traffic information, share-list, education information and so on. As the important increment service in the DTV system, data broadcasting has great significance to popularize the DTV in our country. Because the data broadcasting is just beginning in our country, the standard doesn't has the service definition and products between the different manufacturers are not compatible. Those reasons affect the development of the data broadcasting. This paper using the Object Carousel in DVB standard, introduces a scheme of data broadcasting which is compatible with the country standard and convenient for receiver decoding.The data broadcasting system based on OC has two parts: the encoding and playing subsystem (Front system), the receiving and parsing subsystem (End system). The front system using the OC standard packs the input data to the standard TS stream, then transfers the TS to the remultiplexer to make the data service transfers in the broadcast network together with the other video and audio service. The end subsystem identifies the OC data broadcast service and completes the data receiving and storage work. Then using the superstratum application software, it can display the data service to the user. In the end, the paper gives the system realization. It shows that the data broadcasting system introduced by this paper is feasible.
