Acupuncture is a Chinese treasure which has a unique mode and plenty of experiences. It has now entered the field of morden science and attracts much attention from foreign medical scientists. However, current research mostly focuses on the comparison of the statistics which lacks the regular and systematic conclusion and quantification.Currently, the EEG, ECG, EMG and so on can all respond to the acupuncture's effect, but they aren't fit to detecting and processing the multi-spots and synchronized signals. Therefore, it needs to develop a kind of special device to quantify various acupuncture manipulations, thus to reveal the conduction and effection of the surface electric signal evoked by acupuncture. This paper studies the body surface electric signal's characteristic and digital filters and signal processing in detail. Based on the above, a method of detecting high-speed and synchronous electric signal of non-invasive high-density digital electrode is proposed. Firstly, with the body's specialty and acupuncure's need, one flexible multi-spots electrode is adopted. With the electric signal's specialty, one high-precision anti-jamming and multi-spots synchronous high-speed acquisition system is adopted. Secondly DSP and CPLD are used to control the data acquisition system, design the digital filter and process the online algorithm of surface electric signals. Thirdly, based on the USB2.0 protocol, the data is real-time transfered and and can be further analysed by high-speed computers. Finally, the human-computer interface is expended to conveniently obtain the system's status and input different parameters. The digital acquisition system designed in this paper can be applied to acupuncture clinic so as to explore clinical effect systems. The primary experiment results have proved the feasibility of the system.
