In consideration of the general features and special requirements of the asset management in the port enterprises, based on the asset life cycle and the guiding principle of preventive maintenance, the objective of this research is to develop a set of real-time intelligent asset management software with standard operation flow and strong work audit functions, which can realize the real-time monitoring of the production equipment, make intelligent maintenance plan and intelligent failure diagnosis with the intelligent prediction technology, formulate production equipment scheduling plan in combination with the enterprise production system to improve the equipment utilization rate, enhance the inventory management level with the introduction of the intelligent mobile device and bar code/RFID management technique, and provide foreseeable and reliable data support for the operators during the decision-making process.Based on the intelligent technology and linear theory, this project constructs a real-time asset management system for the port enterprises. With the adoption of the object-oriented analysis design idea, it combines the UML criteria to construct the business modeling and system modeling. During the development process, this project uses Microsoft Visual Studio.Net as the software development platform, adopts the distributed data processing technology to construct an enterprise database, and further realize the enterprise intelligent comprehensive management. A set of real-time intelligent asset management system software has been developed, which is suitable for the port enterprises. The application of the real-time intelligent asset management system can improve the asset management level in the user's enterprise, regulate the management process and operation flow, in order to optimize the inventory management flow, reasonably arrange the inventory, scientifically set the inventory amount, and reasonably formulate the production equipment scheduling plan. It can intelligently formulate the maintenance plan and implement failure diagnosis for the production equipment. By enhancing the equipment utilization rate and inventory management accuracy, and by reducing the equipment failure rate, the management and production costs can be lowered accordingly.
