State Information Center undertakes the National High Technology Research and Development Program (863Program)-Research on the data share and information service technique of ocean environment based on grid (2006AA09Z139). The subject undertakes data transmission module. The subject bases on open grid service architecture data access and integration(OGSA-DAI,Open Grid Service Architecture Data Access and Integration), using the latest globus toolkit 4(GT4) in order to achieve data transmission of ocean environment and provide the basic support for the upper system. The paper introduces concept, peculiarity and architecture of grid. And it states the key techniques OGSA-DAI that accomplish grid data transmission, including architecture, interface type, function of OGSA-DAI. It also researches on the WSRF (Web Service Resource Framework),which is the core accomplishment of OGSA. And the paper describes the toolkits GT4, accomplishing grid data transmission based on OGSA-DAI. On base of the key techniques, according to user's request and data characteristic, the paper design grid data transmission system based on OGSA-DAI. When the quantity of data is small and data needs real-time transmission, and then can use the way data direct transmission to client side. When the data quantity is big, and then can use the way data transmission between client and FTP. According to transmission system's design, the paper has realized these two kinds of data transmission function finally. The paper uses the newest GT4 toolkit to realize the function of grid data transmission based on the OGSA-DAI, thus it has the innovation and foresightedness. At last, from the test of the subject, the result accords to anticipant function of data transmission.
