With the developing of Internet, A variety of traditional negotiation models are gradually changing to electrical negotiation models. However, The researches of negotiation models mostly are based on the particular negotiation backgrounds in special application systems. And the negotiation protocol has to be explicitly hard-coded in all agents in many agent-based applications. This leads to an inflexible environment, only able to accept agents designed for it. So these applications in this kind of model cannot be widely used. This paper is aimed at researching an generic and configurable automated negotiation framework (GNF) based on multi-agent technical. Firstly, This paper compares the message transferring mode with blackboard communication mode, and categorizes for the models of information service. And it gives an analysis of the information service model of requesting and promising by using the theory of communication sequence process (CSP).Secondly, this paper gives a framework of generic automated negotiation, which includes the taxonomy of rules for negotiation and the generic negotiation protocol. And then it gives MAS design mode. And then it research on how to implement then negotiation reasoning. It also uses JESS language to describe the rules which will be executed by these jess engines. At the end, a prototype system as the negotiation example of GNF was given. It uses JESS (Java Expert System) on jade (a multi-agent platform) to implement the software framework. And it also gives a simulation for the processes of reverse auction by using JESS rule language to describe in detail. And it gives a conclusion on the research of this paper and an expectation.
