With deeply application of Internet, e-business has been sharply developed. B2B, a most primary schema of e-business, supply a new approach of business activities among enterprises. In order to assure consistency of business information exchange among enterprises in the world, UN/CEFACT and OASIS establish ebXML (e-business XML ) which is a e-business data exchange specification based on XML. This specification involves core processes in e-business process, such as discovery of collaboration parts, defining of business process, execution of business, etc. which establishes base of global enterprise e-business.With the development and increasingly ripeness of Agent technology of Distributed Artificial Intelligence, the same time, it is possible to make business process automation and intelligence. Negotiation is a most important phase of business process, direct affects sequent execution of business process. Now negotiation is a hot research of Multiple Agent System. This thesis researches automated negotiation based on ebXML, with a background of research of the operation mode, model, algorithm and supporting technology of e-business (2002), a scientific research project of Chongqing. For the special environment, the question of research is how to reach Collaboration-Protocol Agreement (CPA) between trade parts by automated negotiation under ebXML. The following is the Main research of this dissertation:Proposed Automated Generation Model and Algorithm of CPA TemplateCollaboration-Protocol Profile (CPP) describes exchange information and business collaboration capability of trade part. It is impossible to continue unless trade parts reach CPA. Based on elaborate analysis of complicated document structure of CPP, we propose CPA Template Automated Generation Model and Algorithm. CPA Template is base of CPA's Generation and object of negotiation.Proposed Automated Negotiation Model based on CPA TemplateThis model includes key elements, such as negotiation elements, negotiation protocol, negotiation strategies, etc. This model can describe negotiation question effectively and dynamic characteristics, tightly linked to special business environment of ebXML. Negotiaton Descriptor Docoment (NDD) which is created in model describes elements while need to negotiate between partners and their range of value. Research on Negotiation Protocol and Associated Negotiation StrategiesNegotiation Protocol is the rule of interaction of Agents. A good protocol can make negotiation activities successfully to carry through. Negotiation Protocol which we research is Alternating Offers Bargaining Negotiation Protocol.Negotiation Strategies are foundation of Agent reasoning and making decision. In order to maximate benefit, it is impossible to make right and rational reasoning and decision to unless there are good strategies. Therefore, a good negotiation strategy is a key to success. But dynamic variability and incomplete information in practical negotiation process enlarge difficulty of negotiation research. We mainly research negotiation strategy based on time, negotiation strategy based on behavior of opponent, composite negotiation strategy and exchange benefit strategy.Design of Negotation SystemWe created CPA Automated Negotiation System based on CPA Template under ebXML. In order to validate feasibility and availability of models and algorithms proposed in dissertation, we do Simulation Experiment. Firstly, we design and implement Automated Generation Model and Algorithm of CPA Template, generate CPA Template by CPPs of both trade parts, then we design and implement NDDs, generate CPA using appreciate negotiation protocol and negotiation strategy through CPA Automated Negotiation Model.
