Analysis And Implementation Of Digital Control System For Coiler

Coiler is one of the most important auxiliary equipment for steel rolling. It is used to coils strip into coiled steel. On the basis of designing a digital control system of coiler for a domestic steel company, this thesis thoroughly studies the coiler control equipment and digests the related technique. The main works in cludes:(1)By analyzing process of the volume pyramid and broken steel strip, the thesis notes that constant tension is important for steel rolling.(2)This thesis illustrates relationship between armature current; motor flux; speed and tension by constructing mathematics model of tension. The thesis points that in order to control coiler tension accurately and effectively, controlling speed; armature current and motor flux is feasible scheme.(3)Through studying the rule of winding steel this thesis acquires the counter diameter as the primary diameter. Using the rule of mass flow conservation, this thesis monitors and corrects the primary diameter. Therefore, the algorithm of coil diameter is built.(4)The mathematic model of the winding system is constructed. The compensations of moment of inertia and the disturbance of roll diameter are discussed in detail. The thesis finds the way to reduce the undulate tension in the course of building tension and the system is simulated.(5) The thesis investigates the maximum torque control and compound control by studying some coiler project. By comparison of the two methods advantages and disadvantages, this thesis point that these two methods to be used in the coiler project.(6)Under the guidance of engineers who work in Tian Jin Design and Research Institute Of Electric Drive I studied how to use s00 software that build in SIMOREG DC-MASTER 6RA70 and S7-300 PLC and completed design work of full digital control system for coiler.
