The vertical-lifted storage system has broad and practical applications in many fields. As the development of machining and the construction of the product pipelining in the group corporation, the management of many kinds of machining implements and electronic components constitutes the bottleneck of production. There is urgent demand for automatic storage system. The system in this paper solves the problem successfully.The vertical lift storage system is designed to storage goods in limited vertical space as much as possible, with the module of salvers. The configuration design is mainly based on metal components. And the motor drives the load to move up and down, and the salvers can lap over and store goods. In electric design, the module design is the main method. In order to reduce the interference, the electric and electronic modules are considered respectively. The module design is also the main method of software design. It includes the main control module, the database management module, the system detection module and the CAN bus module. The database management system, the control system and the actuator constitute the whole system, using the CAN bus as the bottom network. This system can achieve high-speed and reliable data transmission. The electric and software design of this system is extensible for further design and convenient for adding corresponding modules.
