Fermentation process is a time-varied, nonlinear, uncertain, multivariable, input/output correlatived system. Its modeling simulation is the vital element for directing the fermentation industry to optimize its production and control process. The fact that not importing any industrial software standard in former fermentation processes simulation softwares' development make them unable to provide real-time data access interface to other ones. In some certain software system, the truth that both the number of model could be simulated is limited and its initial condition are extremely restricted is unfavorable for data measurement and control. It also dents the softwares' application, and could not meet the requirement of data observation. Therefore, solving problems of the closure characteristic in software designing, the limited model categories could be simulated and the parochialism in data expression is crucial for widening the application field of simulation system.Based on analyzing validation methods of fermentation simulation software, an OPC based multi-simulation processes intergated system was proposed through a three-level system structure. The data generation level which consists of fermentation models and algorithms was designed, and the data collection level, which consists of OPC data organization and DCOM communication mechanism, was realized. This system provided the design of OPC client which locate in data representation level with flexibility. The experiment indicates that the system is capable of integrating multi simulation processes. It communicates well with OPC client and meets the requirement of OPC DA 2.0 standard. This design method guaranties system's real-time and reliablity, provides outstanding openness and scalability.
