Research On Complexity Theory Of Network Communication

The development of media depend on the reshuffle of media organization and system, in the meanwhile technique revolution also plays a key role。The appearance of network communication is not only a great leap forward of technology, but also changing the social form, bringing great challenge to traditional human communication rules. The network communication includes human communication, colony communication and public communication. The goal of communication research has changed from process to human being and the base point from effect to media research. Network communication has the features such as interactive and extensive layer which confuse the difference of sender and receiver. So it is hard to explain with traditional empiricism theory. From "gun theory" to "second degree theory" and "limited effect" theory which produced in 50's. The traditional communication rules are not enough to demonstrate. So many network communication events indicate the complexity of mechanism. The key of complexity is not just simply avalanche but self-organization. The network communication's dynamic balance which between regular and chaos has changed the linearity description of media's static configuration and function. It transfered to the non-linearity description of media's dynamic configuration. So based on systematical theory, we introduce complexity conception to media research, discuss in detailed the application of complexity in media research and under this background the change of media theory.We will conduct series of quality and quantity analysis to demonstrate dynamic power in social network itself and the whole is more then its parts. Based on systematical theory, we introduce complexity research tools to definite the chaos of network communication and part of the rules. It is obviously that the regular systems don't change or only changed by mechanic rules and the chaos systems exclude the time dimensionality. They have no memories for the past so that can not evolve, It is only complexity systems which not only have time dimensionality but also have the function of self-evolve can rebuilt the organization's stability by colony self-reflection.But there's limitation of phenomenon research of network complexity, in nature science somebody classified the regular, complex and chaos. So peoples may consider that the complex is a conception between regular and chaos. But complex is a relative conception. Whether something is complex or not, to different speculator, the result is different. So the definition of complexity is also relative. Although it is relative to research, it is necessary to figure out the complexity of network communication. It is not only adaptation for Internet communication theory, but also it makes powerful evidence for communication theory which from empiricism to humanism and in the mean while it carves out a length and broad way for media research in the future.Under the background of new digital media and Internet, we are experiencing a society transition from analogue media to digital media. So many random network communication events demonstrated the double-quality of new media which add and manage the complexity. The Internet is such a special media that inhere itself in double-mechanism to dynamic function. The networks infect each other but they are not connected directly and they are encapsulated individual existing systematically.
