This thesis mostly studies the newsphoto of Chinese newspaper in the Digital Age. Advanced digital technology of communication has constructed new space and it has offered a new chance to newsphoto of Chinese newspaper in the 21 century; at the same time, it has brought a new problem: the contradiction between technology and humanism is becoming acute.From the angles of communication, theory of journalism and sociology, it analyzes the functions and the behavioral characteristics of newsphoto in the Chinese newspaper, and then explores the problems in the existing behavior through the typical case studies.
