With the rapid development of the modern colli industry,the security problem has become the hot spot which the people pay attention. Moreover the industrial process control has set new and high requirement for the collection,transmission,data exchange,precision and reliability of the mass field signals. Based on the fieldbus technology and microprocessor the intelligent sensor has remarkable advantages and broad prospect of application over the ordinary sensor. So the purpose of this paper is combine the CAN bus technology in the fieldbus and sensor to realize the intelligent control of production scene and satisfy the requirement of real-time low level data collection and transmission in industrial control, and also guarantee the real-time and the reliability of the data.Firstly,the fieldbus and the intelligent sensor technology are introduced briefly. Then,the CAN bus technology is elaborated and the characters , structures ,protocol,and the data frame of the CAN bus are analyzed. The design of intelligent CH4 Sensor based on CAN fieldbus take the C8051F040 microprocessor as the core. The system is made up of by electrocircuits of microcontroller, testing, amplifier, CANbus interface, and so on. Leading functions of this system include data acquisition, the control of communication and alarm.In the side of software, embedded high level programming language C51 is applied to it. Furthermore, emulator S51 and emulating software KEIL are consisted of emulating environment, they are used for programming and debugging of system software.Lastly,in order to monitor the production scene,designed data monitoring system application procedure with Labview software.
