At present, digitization and network technology are developing rapidly. As the source end of testing system, the majority of sensor output is still analog signal. Based on this situation, taking the acceleration sensor as example, this thesis makes an in-depth study on the key technologies of sensor digitization. And then the digital sensor network technology is discussed. In this thesis a sensor digitization solution is designed, and then the solution is realized concretely. Finally, digital processing to acceleration analog is realized.This thesis focuses on the key technologies in progress of sensor digitization, including A/D conversion, acceleration digital signal process and transmission interface design after A/D conversion. (1) For A/D conversion, digitization of sensor analog signal is realized. Furthermore, technique of calibration with different source is used to eliminate the error brought by the signal conditioning circuit; (2) For the acceleration digital signal process, digital filter and temperature compensation are realized using the digital process function of microprocessor. Through verification, the precision of digital sensor is improved significantly through digital filter and temperature compensation, and signal error is less than 0.2%; (3) For the design of digital transmission interfaces, the CAN BUS and RS232 communication protocols are mainly designed and realized. Intercommunication between acceleration sensor and other device connected to this digital sensor is realized finally. Different data transmission mode can be selected according to specific needs. And signal transmission of digital sensor is realized with high-speed and in real-time. Besides, several or more digital sensors can be connected to the CAN BUS and make up a sensor test and control network in order to realize the digital sensor network. Digital sensor designed in this thesis can store data, and this can meet the need of sensor signals collected can not be transmitted promptly in special occasions, facilitating the data recovery subsequently and waveform reproduction. So the flexibility of acceleration digital sensor designed in this thesis is enhanced and its application scope is extended.
