The Research And Design On Elearning System Based On Service Oriented Architechure

The information infrastructures in the field of education are constructed actively since the 20th century. And more and more universities are planning to develop digital campus. Meanwhile, as the development of "Communication among Schools Program" and "Modern Distance Education Program of Schools in Country", millions of schools can access to internet. In order to manage the data and information about the instruction and improve the learning performance, web learning systems become popular in the schools and campus. Thus, many web learning systems appear in past ten years. They enhance the sharing of learning resource and education reform. However, there is something wrong with these systems. For example, interoperability can not be guaranteed among different learning system, which limit the its use and cause the waste of resource.In order to realize the interoperability among different learning system, the author uses the methods of Service Oriented Architecture in the software engineer and considers the relevant specification about the e-learning system to design the traditional learning system. Due to many advantages about the soft-couple and module, the SOA can solve the problem mention above. With the help of service oriented modeling methods, the author discovery and define many services and publish these services with the technology of Web Service. Through combination and use mutually, many different function would be realized, which can achieve the reuse of the software code and interoperability. In this way, the specifications of this research would provide the guides with the developer; also they can help the composition of the standard about the interoperability.The main research methods of this research are survey and service oriented modeling methods. Through the survey of process about online learning, a common process would be generalized. Then the author employ the service oriented methods to discovery the different services and complete the design of main framework.The achievements of research focus on core processes of online learning and the service oriented framework. Through abstract and resolve the core processes, many different services would be obtained, which can be used as guides of interoperability. This framework absorbs the advantages about foreign specification and conforms to the real condition of China, so it has operability and easy to realized.
