In recent years, with the development of Internet technology, streaming media has become the fastest growing Internet application point. Streaming Media is characterized by large volume of data transmission lasted for a long time, and is very strict on QoS indicators such as the delay, jitter, packet loss rate and bandwidth. On the current Internet, the construction of a large-scale cost-effective streaming media system is a challenging task. On the Internet, traditional streaming media system is based on C / S mode in which the server-side network bandwidth output greatly limits the capacity of the system. The CDN network and IP Multicast technology are difficult to realize universal application because of its expensive hardware costs and technical difficulty. In recent years the emerging peer-to-peer (P2P) technology, along with the theory of perfect and continuous development, have sprung up everywhere, received extensive attention in the distribution of streaming media technology. In this paper, the P2P network streaming media and related technologies, and the agreement of several different models were compared and analyzed.Secondly, we designed and implemented an agreement based on Gossip P2P streaming media broadcast systems. The system incorporates traditional P2P networks and C / S technical advantages, and can support a large number of users to receive real-time streaming data. Its main features include: 1) using C / S structure of the Centre advantages, node through centralized server management, and maintenance of complex structures without the application layer multicast tree, nor the need to deploy complex P2P multicast communication protocol. 2) the use of hybrid Gossip algorithm, simple and efficient realization of the interaction of information between nodes, making coverage to maintain a high throughput, load balancing, fault tolerance and high-capacity non-structural topology. 3) the use of the two strategies cache cache mechanism, the effective protection of the flow of play. Finally, this article on the design of streaming media broadcasting system has been tested and the test data are analyzed. The results showed that the system of linear growth in the number of users, servers and the bandwidth occupied CPU usage has remained at a relatively low level, fully demonstrating the advantages of the P2P technology.
