Two-dimensional barcode technology, as an electronic tagging technology, is a comprehensive science and technology based on the development of photovoltaic technology and computer technology. It can be used for collection and storage of information. Two-dimensional barcode technology has been widely applied in logistics, transportation,production automation and electronic commerce,at the same time,it brings on a series of security issues, particularly in the area of electronic commerce, because the demand for security is relatively high, Therefore, the study of security of two-dimensional barcode application is very necessary.The security of two-dimensional barcode applications mainly rely on digital encryption technology. In this paper, a system of two-dimensional code security applications based on PKI theory is brought on.This paper is divided into five chapters. In Chapter One, it gives an overview of the project's background, and gives the comparision between the two-dimensional bar code and some other electronic tagging technology, such as RFID, NFC and ZigBee. And it talks about the history and research status of barcode technology.In the second chapter, DataMatrix code is selected as the research object. The author introduces the basic structure and image characteristics of DataMatrix code, and analyses the encoding and decoding process of DataMatrix barcode. And some relevant technologies including Reed-Solomon correcting code were discussed at last.Chapter Three introduces digital security technology at first. Digital security is primarily ensured by digital encryption technology, which includes symmetric encryption technology and asymmetric encryption technology. The article focuses on the second one, and briefly introduces some related knowledge about PKI public key encryption system which used the asymmetric RSA encryption algorithm. And also the two application modes of RSA algorithm is discussed in this chapter.In the fourth chapter,a system of two-dimensional barcode security applications based on PKI theory is brought on.The system includes module of generation and management of RSA keys, DataMatrix barcode generation module and DataMatrix barcode identification module.The three modules can be used by certification centres, service providers and users in the PKI system.In the last chapter, some two-dimensional barcode applications, including electronic bills, security labelling and two-dimensional barcode network labels, have been discussed. Using the three modules mentioned in Chapter Four of the security system, the safety of two-dimensional barcodes can be guaranteed.This paper put forward a security system of two-dimensional barcode application. DataMatrix code encoding and decoding software have been designed and realized. But there is still room for improvement of management of RSA keys. It needs to be further improved.
