Today, with the coming of China Market Economy Reforming and the participating into WTO, all companies are facing to a lot of opportunities and challenges. The business competition becomes more intensive. Therefore, the company has to find some new methods and conceptions to resolve the problems of competition and management. How to fully plan the resources of the enterprise is a big project.The competitive power of a company is not only provides the high quality products and services, but also has accuracy and efficiency of management and operation. Implementing a suitable ERP system is a good way to achieve this target.In this fast growing and diverse market, the business model and operation mode have to changing fast to adapte the market. Hence the ERP system also needs to have enough extensible and integrated abilities to support the changes of business and market.This paper mainly carries on following three points of works:1, To promote the capability and scalability of business system, a new design of N-tire architecture and component oriented business logic model is proposed, which use SOA theory for reference.2, SYBASE'S Adeptive Component Architecture which based on EAServer is practiced. The application systems and subsystems are divided to logical components and data access components. The system's compatibility and scalability are supported by EAServer components integrated planform and Object Oriented development.3, Achieve the deployment of Enterprise Application Server system and SQL Server database cluster system. Provide high performance, fault tolerance, load balance, and enterprise security.The detail jobs in this project include investigating the history and recent status of ERP concept, researching architecture of popular ERP systems, designing OZARK ERP sytem architecture, designing database structure, implementing interfaces and important classes/components, and designing and implementing business logic structure and workflow. So far, the phase one of OZARK ERP system has been successfully online.
