The Researching For ERP System Design Based On Business Component

With the continuous development of computer technology, the connotations andextensions of ERP concept have changed tremendously, it’s the development methodsand application areas have been extended continuously.Based on the Railway Transportation ERP system project of AnGang RailwayTransportation Company, some problems about business components designingwithin the businesses component based ERP system is discussed the researchedthoroughly in this paper, and the analysis, design and implement of a concretebusiness component separated from the Railway Transportation ERP system is alsogiven in detail. Meanwhile, some preliminary analysis of the real-time problem of theERP system is discussed too, and the general characteristics and requirements of ERPsystem on real-time is also discussed briefly. And a concrete business componentdesign example which can be used to cope with the real-time requirement for ERPsystem is also presented in this paper in detailed.Firstly, some basic problems of ERP and ERP system, such as basicconcepts, research status and development methods, etc. are discussed briefly.Meanwhile some basic concept and problems on component and componenttechniques are discussed briefly too. Then some problems, such as businesscomponent design process and design methods etc., for designing the businesscomponent is discussed in detail. Here, the discussion is focused on the problemof business component identification method, and the characteristics and applicablesituation for these existing identification methods are also discussed in detail.Secondly, these business components identification methods are applied in theRailway Transportation ERP system. By using these methods, we designed a newcomponent based architecture for Railway Transportation ERP system. And alsogives out the design and implementation of the Distributed Carriage DistributionBusiness Component in detail, and which is the most important business componentwithin the architecture. Also its reuse problem discussed thoroughly.Finally, the paper has also briefly discussed the real-time problem of ERP system,it analyzed the characteristics of the real-time demand of ERP system, and gives areusable data communication component, in fact that through presenting thiscommunication component, a new actually real-time strategy for component basedERP system is also presented too. Practice has proved that this strategy has effectivelysupported the real-time performance of the system, at the same time; a real-time ERPsystem method is also given.The main feature of this research is to pay attention to the practice, the basic ideaof the topic and the two design examples are both derived from the actual project. Allthe basic theory, methods and design examples discussed in this paper have beeneffectively used in the actual project.
