With the development of micro-computer, its hardware and software systems are undergoing radical change, in particular the integrated circuit following Moore's Law. Microprocessor plays a very important role in it. In any case, the trend is more integrated, more powerful, smaller size, higher speed and low power. The interrupt module, as an essential component of the interface in Microprocessor, has made a great improvement. Especially the development of the multi-core processors leads to the increasingly complex communication, and the interrupt controller plays an important role in communication of Microprocessor. At present, the research field of domestic on interrupt handling of multi-core systems is almost blank. In order to break this deadlock, I design an interrupt controller for bi-core microprocessor in my paper, which is based on a 64 bit bi-core RISC communication microprocessor. It can deal with the interruption of bi-core, such as interrupt sources from core 2 (communication processor) to core 1 (in response to interruption), from the interface module to core 1 and 24 interrupt sources from external signals to core 1. It has basically realized the interrupt processing system ensuring the reliable communication between the two cores on single chip. In addition, I find a new method to divide clock source with high frequency in the course of generating the clock of the interrupt controller module. Unlike sequential logic used commonly, I design a new type of combinational logic circuit and it has achieved the desired functionality.
