| With the development of technology, ARM micro-processor has become the main stream of micro-processor in embedded system. Its low power supply and low power comsumption makes it the first choice of most SoC architecture. The different connection modes of SoC have been advanced with SoC design technology based on reusage methodology of IP. This article introduces the AMBA bus architecture among them.Although different SoC platform will have different modules, there are some necessary modules, such as memory controller and interrupt controller. My design theme focuses on the IP design of memory controller and interrupt controller based on ARM/AMBA. Adopting TSMC 0.18um Process 1.8-Volt SAGE Standard Cell library, the final design is fulfilled. The whole design makes me familiar with the design flow of SoC based on ARM architecture, the SoC methodology based ont AMBA bus, IP verification and the logic synthesis.This paper analyzes the whole functions and separate modules of memory controller and interrupt controller and introduces the normal IP design flow. Finally, the design results are given, including simulation waves and circuit after logical synthesis. The outputs are satisfying. |
