Multimedia Semantic Retrieval Of Cartoon-Objected Material

As follow as the development of the cartoon industry, there has produced more and more cartoon materials, such as images, motion, model, textual, audio and so on. In animation production process, it needs effective query in massive repository of material .But just depending formerly on the material file system with classified by catalog or text query for material managed by RDB, the ratio of reuse and the productivity is very low.Although content-based multimedia retrieval system based on the similar match of content characteristics, it still can not radically reduce the "semantic gap." Now forefront relatively hot is to use image processing and artificial intelligence access to multimedia resources semantic features and semantic knowledge acquisition methods based on the knowledge base; Semantic Web technology more and more act as the denotation and organizational forms of knowledge, Ontological knowledge base achieving the semantics of resources based on the Semantic Web technology Construction is becoming a hot crawl of multimedia resources retrieval.In this paper, the main work is as follows:Based on the Ontology theory and technology, cartoon-objected material semanticzed schema has been proposed aimed at the problems cartoon production and tried to solve the problem of the material resources semantic problems, such as managing multimedia resources. By the extending of concept or knowledge which makes the semantic character of multimedia to come into the knowledge represent system and reduce further the semantic gap in knowledge level more.Ontology-based knowledge base designs for animation material retrieval of multimedia resources semantic structure and a key part of system , such as the algorithms of how to get multiquery-based semantic similarity and the algorithms of grade and taxis logic, the design and realization of anthology ontologies, the design of Jean-based semantic query reasoning engine, he design and realization of anthology ontologies and so on.In order to check the feasibility and validity, a multimedia resource semantic retrieval system of cartoon-objected material has been realized by fast prototype, such as the design and realization of anthology ontologies, processing part of simple natural language; and do the testing for prototype system.At last, the main conclusions as well as the shortcomings have been proposed in this paper. Also, the future research direction has been discussed.
