In recent years,although our country make huge investment in traffic infrastructure,the growth of railways' mileage could not satisfy the increasing fast vehicles journey demand.In addition the other correlation factor's influences,like the pilot quality,the road environment,the vehicles performance and so on,all these cause the traffic safety situation to be very critical in recently.Therefore,it's necessary to do in-depth study on the factor which affects the road traffic security.In many cases,it is unable to experience many dangerous scenes on the actual road during researching road traffic safety factor.For example,the unreasonable road's alignment combination,sign and marking design,the pedestrian crossing street suddenly,front vehicle decelerating or braking suddenly,vehicle not giving way according to traffic rule,roadside vehicle driving into road suddenly and so on. Now,it offers the related technical support to research road traffic question along with rapid development of virtual reality technology and the computer simulation technology.According to the errand,this study has done a lot of deeply research and application in software design and implementation of virtual scenes which are used to analyze the factor of road safety.This system is developed on the basis of driving simulator software system existing in laboratory.Its not only provides a experimental platform for analying and studying multi-dimensional factor of road traffic accident,but also provides a set of dangerous scene model to enhance trainers' strain ability for the training simulator.Utilizing open resource graphics rendering engine(OGRE),and open GUI library(QuickGUI),as well as combining to the theory of VR,this paper designs and realizes this system.The main achievement of this paper is as follow:1)Realizing automation system for three-dimensional road alignment's data.This system not only speeds up the production of virtual driving road scene,moreover makes the road scene even more to conform to the road design's standard. 2)Analyzing the main architecture of OGRE and doing deep research in road model visualization simulation technique.It is essential the rendering ways of how to make the road block smooth.3)Studying the application method of QuickGUI,realizing the scenery editor of design road environment as well as dangerous scene model.And,road environment design includes road sign and marking,road intersection,intelligent vehicles' travel path as well as signal light and so on.4)Realizing road environment scene model dynamic simulation,and providing a set of expandable design interface for driving simulator software.The results of the system running show that it can strengthen operator's immersion feeling greatly by real-time produces the virtual road model,the road environment, the dangerous scene model through the system,and achieve the influence that unexpected scene affect to pilot.Meanwhile,it lays a good foundation for analyzing multi-dimensional factor of road traffic accident,pilot's training and the safe education by driving simulator.
