Design And Realization Of RFID Reader System Based On Windows CE

RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) system is a high efficient identification and information collection system. With its unique advantages of contactless operation, rapid and multi-targets recognitions, it is widely used in many fields. In recent years, the development of RFID technology has put the achievement of RFID processing in theory into new practical application systems and then new theory and application have been made great progress.On the other hand, embedded technology at the core of embedded microprocessor has made rapid progress in practice with the development of semiconductor technology and microelectronic technology. It has been inevitable trend to develop RFID system using advanced embedded technology .While in home market, most of RFID reader products are based on 8 or 16 bits single chip processor without embedded operation systerm, function simply.Such products can not meet the challenge of increasing requirements with the growing system complexitions and extended application range. In this situation, we developed a multi-protocol, multi-interface,modularization, good expansibility, user-friendly interface HF-RFID system, which provide a reference for developing multifunction and portable RFID reader.Realization of anti-collision algorithm is another achievement.The thesis aims to design and develop a RFID reader system based on WinCE and S3C2410A, which support the RF protocols of both ISO15693 and ISO14443, then transmit data to PC by UART port after detecting tag.In addition,the reader can detect more than one tags in effective range at one time and can read/write data in/from tag's blocks.Being of high reliability, low consumed power, miniaturization, this RFID reader has recognizable distance up to 10cm and it has been used in one kind of PDA product. The stability of the reader was proved by the actual applications.The project background, the research meaning and purport,the development of application of the RFID reader at home and abroad are introduced.The RFID system and embedded system are introduced,which lay a strong foundation of theoretical principle.Then focus on how to build up the whole platform,inlcuding the hardware design,the operating system transplant, and the drivers development. The thesis emphasis on the way to build up the RFID system.Furthemore the method of RFID reader systerm testing is presented.
