As an advanced AEI(Automatic Equipment Identification) and Data Acquisition Technology, RFID(Radio Frequency Identification) has even been praised to be one of the top ten most significant technology of the 21st century. Now it has widespread Applications in a variety of domains, for example in manufacturing, Salting, Public Safety etc. RFID Technology has got support from many TNCs (transnational corporations). With the proposal of "Internet of Things" concept, RFID technology has been rapid development, RFID itself will become an emerging high-tech industry, and a new growth point of the future IT industry. As an Indispensable part of RFID Applications, RFID Readers will moving in the direction of Portable, intelligent mobile terminals for the Increasing user demands, handheld RFID readers will be favorable. However, due to the current RFID-related standards and interface specifications have not yet unified, so the RFID readers on the market just for specific applications, while hardware and software is not compatible to each other. In this paper, study is focused on the overall RFID solutions, from the hardware platform design to the software system implementation. The main work is as follows:(1) Hardware design plan of RFID Mobile Terminal is given, including build embedded systems platform and design NFC (Near Field Communication) RFID Reader module. The modular design of embedded system platform including Main Control module and Peripheral Interface module is conducive to the expansion of hardware modules. Depth analysis the reader module selection and gives a detailed design.(2) Program the firmware of RFID Reader Module, Depth analysis the working mechanism of the TRF7960 from the Analog and Digital Unit of Transceiver. The communication protocol between The Host and Reader Module is designed and specifies communication data frame format. Anti-collision algorithm of ISO15693 is analyzed and the specific example is given.(3) After the analysis of the architecture of a typical RFID middleware, the paper proposed lightweight embedded middleware architecture (CE_RFID), It's hierarchical structure to facilitate the expansion of the system. CE_RFID is divided into four layers: Device Management, Data Management, Information Services Layer and Application Interface Layer. The Paper finally gives the designed details of every layer.
