In the Automated Highway System(AHS)which based on magnetic marker guidance,the magnetic markers in the central road with same interval are used for the navigation markers of vehicle.It can be used to judge whether the vehicle is deviated from the central line by detecting the magnetic signal from the sensors installed in vehicle and conclude the deviation degree between vehicle and the central road. Because the magnetic sensor is the key equipment in the AHS guided by magnetic maker,so how to improve the detecting accuracy of magnetic sensor is to be the important issue in the study of this system.Therefore,this study has carried out the deep research on the design,test and application of magnetic sensor.A platform has been developed based on magnetic field characteristics research of magnetic marker,magnetic signal examination,the relative motion between vehicle and magnetic marker,which can be used to simulate vehicle auto-driving on the test field based magnet navigation.Vehicle moving straightaway,S shape moving forward as well as accelerated motion etc has been designed respectively on the platform.The relationship between magnetic induction and horizontal deviation can be gained through measuring the magnetic induction in movement.A one-dimensional digital coil magnetic sensor has been designed and developed and its detection accuracy and anti-jamming capability,economic cost has been greatly improved.Base on the successful development of one-dimensional sensor,a research of two-dimensional digital coil magnetic sensor is in progress,and the comparative experiments have demonstrated the practicality of the sensor.A two-dimensional digital coil magnetic sensor can output two-way digital signals which can be double adjusted and contrastively analysed,it is more convenient to be used for AHS guided by magnetic maker.Base on the basic research of the orientation arithmetic of magnetic navigation, our own practical research of the digital sensor has been started.The visual navigation aids driving magnetic devices for the logistics transportation of Wuhan port has been designed,it has successfully solved the problem of the low visibility in the rainy days and can be accurate on the driver's behavior,play a guiding role.
