With the new development of VR technology and the rapid popularization of Internet, Virtual Experiment, as a new kind of experiment style, receives more and more attention. In recent years, Virtual Experiment develops quickly, and has good prospects.The development of VR brings along the Virtual Experiment's. Users can experience lively immersion and excellent interaction in the virtual world. The application of virtual experiment system promotes the improvement of teaching methods and improves the quality of teaching.Based on the research of virtual reality and virtual experiment, author analyzes the mainstream developing technology of virtual experiment systems , in-depth studies the new characteristics and superiorities of X3D, designs the overall plan of the system and formulates reasonable implementation programmer and technical route. This paper gives detailed exposition about the research and development of virtual experimental platform which based on X3D.This paper focuses on the realization of 3D models and interaction in the virtual system. Author dose the theoretical research and gives some examples in the field of principle and method of 3D modeling and interaction. Propose the innovative modeling method. Paper introduces the process of 3D modeling and the achievement of system interactive function by idiographic examples. The ultimate aim is to develop a complete set of virtual chemistry experiment system with 3D interactive virtual scenes.
