Virtual Experiment System Of Computer Communication -The Design And Implementation Of Frequency Band Transfer Experiment System

In Modem education, the experiment, as a necessary activity in the teaching process, become the key to the students' practical application ability and proble-solving competence, especially in some more practical fields such as physics, chemistry, computer communication, in which most of the students' practical experience is gained from experiments.Computer Communicaton is one of the major courses in communication and computer discipline.As an essential part in the teaching process, the experiment is indispensable.Since the equipments and installations used in communication experiment system are expensive, and because of the complexity of communication systems and tine speed of advancement in this field, the experiment for this course can hardly be set up.Even if some universities in China have set up such kind of experimental courses, the equipments are almost from those used in electronics and communication field.Their experiments are mainly related to the modulation of the signal and the enclosing and decoding etc.While they seldom touch upon the topics such as signal transmission, communication protocol, error control, multiplexing and transmitting property of various buses, Any how, the latter ones are just the primary content of modem computer communication techniques.Base on such reality, we decide to independently develop a set of virtual experiment system of communication which will meet the demand of contemporary computer communication teaching.The thesis is mainly about the researching, designing and developing of virtual experiment system of computer communication.The whole thesis can be divided into two parts.The first part is the literature review, serving as the theoretical basts for the second part, introducing the concepts such as simulation.virtual reality and their mutual relationship and also the advantages when VR and Simulation technique is applied in experiment teaching.The second part makes a detailed discussion on the overall plan, real accomplishment, key techniques and improvement envisage in virtual experiment system of computer communication.This System has passed the technological innovation examination by TianjinInstitute of Scientific &Technical Information in Septemper, 2003.It has also passed the expert appraisal by Scientific Research Department of Tianjin Education Committee.The result shows that this system can accomplish the experiments in the principle of computer communication for computer communication courses by using softwares and this system is in the lead in teaching softwares in China.
