The Characteristic And Applied Research Of Military Atmosphere Laser Communications System

Atmosphere laser communication is the technique which usually using laser as the carrier directly transmits voice, data and image in the space. Because of its inherentbenefits , which are security , high data rates and anti-electromagnetic , atmosphere lasercommunication is greatly valuable in the military domain.Firstly, the basic principle, the development condition and the characteristic of atmosphere laser communication is elaborated. Secondly, the theoretical analysis of the key issues to atmosphere laser communication is made, including the select of laser wavelength, the select of lasers and detectors, the power allowance computation, the application of modulation mode, the optical system and the APT technology in the atmosphere laser communication, the influence to the laser transmission of atmospheric channel and so on. In addition the reasonable proposals for the military were brought up separately. Thirdly the analysis of the laser diode driver circuit's principle was made. The laser actuation driver circuit was designed and the simulation analysis of the circuit was made. Finally the conception to the atmosphere laser communication in military application is proposed, and the key parameters to the communication system based on the weather conditions in the Inner Mongolia are analyzed.
