Atmosphere laser communication is the technique using infrared laser beam or laser pulse as carrier to inter-transfer data, audio and video information directly in space. Benefiting from both microwave communication and optical fiber communication, atmosphere laser communication has the advantage such as wide frequency bandwidth, large capacity, immunity from electromagnetic interference, low error rate, convenient erection, higher data transmissibility and high military security. The agile communication mode is indispensable in military communication. In particular, with the development of optical communication technique, atmosphere laser communication is making tracks for battlefield and being used for actual combat.On the basis of the predecessors' research, the dissersation mainly focus on deals with the practibility that atmosphere laser communication is used for field battle communication under the informational condition in the future. Three main problems are studied emphatically. Firstly, laser transmission theory and atmosphere laser communication mechanism and correlation technique are discussed detailedly. The discussion lays a foundation for the design of field atmosphere laser communication system. Secondly, Considering the battle practice in the future with the actual demand of field communication and referring to the mature technique of wireless laser communication system, this dissersation brings forward the atmosphere laser communication system model practical for battlefield and acquisition, tracking and pointing (APT) subsystem model. The main components, modulate/detection system and important parameters of the atmosphere laser communication system and the working flow and tracking strategy of the APT subsystem are also analysed in detail. These are valuable to the engineering and practical application of the system model. Lastly, meeting the demands of being close to actual combat and serving battlefield, this dissersation systematically analyses the application demand of field atmosphere laser communication in war. At the same time, this dissersation designs some typical applications of atmosphere laser communication system in future hit back battle in the west frontier and brings forward network topology and the network anti-destruction technique of field battle atmosphere laser communication. These are helpful for practical application in war in the future.
