The Research And Application Of Workflow Management System Based On SOA

The effects of workflow are obvious that it improves enterprises' business flow as well as enhances enterprises' competing ability. So workflow has been the main target in enterprise's information construction. However, as the organization structures, resource structures and business processes of the large-scale modern enterprises are complex and changeable, enterprises in the Information Age do not exist in isolation, communications and the business processes between enterprises are necessary and frequent, it is meaningful and promising to study a new kind of workflow to create enterprise business processes flexibly.At the same time, with the development of computer technology and enterprise diversification, computer applications in enterprises are no longer simple applications but system integrations. From the view of computer network technology and software development technology, the current network is distributed and heterogeneous and the trend of the software developing technique is loose coupling and cooperation, which make it possible to construct a loosely coupled distributed workflow system.At first, the paper analyzes some main features about the current workflow systems. A conclusion can easily be drawn that the small size of encapsulation is the main cause of the absence of flexility in system. Then aiming at the problem of the absence of flexility, high coupling and bad integrated ability in workflow system, a new kind of workflow model based on SOA is given. In the workflow model, services-workflow mapping methods and steps are described. Meanwhile, it gives the formalization descriptions of organization model and process model: As for organization model: Some properties about organization model in SOA are studied by using relational algebra theory. It concludes that organization model is encapsulated by Web services, which can reduce the conflict domains. As for process model: Service Process NET is introduced by using Petri net theory, which describes how to map the process model on the basic of atomic services and compositive services. Meanwhile the preservation of properties about Service Process NET is given, which can be applied to analyze the sonstruction of Service Process NET.In addition, the above-mentioned models, methods and steps are applied to an electronic official document system. Finally, make a summary of this paper's main research content and point out some existed problems in current model and the next work of research..
