This method can help general researchers carry on numerical simulation of various photonic crystal fiber according to the procedures given in this acticle.In addition to introdacing the foundamental knowledge of the photonic crystal fiber and various methods of studying the photonic crystal fiber,this article also made a simple comparison of these model methods.At most important of all, this article put point in carrying out the numerical method of photonic crystal fiber by finnite element software -COMSOL Multiphysicsand worked out the speific procedures to do it. In addition ,it studies the characteristic of three kinds of the photonic crystal fiber,the auther not only verified the possibility of the method, but also provided the certain theories data for studying the photonic crystal fiber.
