Computer and it's peripheral equipment made great progress towards high speed and general uses along with the development of electronic technology and needs of society. As the most widespread parts,data sampling system developed continually.In this paper ,the author designed a data sampling system ,which used USB technology,arm-linux technology ,socket technology and so on.This system samples voltage signal ,after analysis and transform,transferred data to arm-linux platform through USB port,and also to remote PC through ethernet Remote-indication,watching and control in locale area are realized.The main contents and results of this paper are as follows:Analysis the setup method and rules of communication of usb transfer.Designed an usb sampling system.Study USB device driver on embedded linux platform,and designed a usb device driver for sampling device.Study the method of network communication on embeded linux system,write server and client program.Study QT, a GUI development envirment,and developed graphical interfaces base on Qt ,as software interface on embedded platform between hardware controlling and user.and explain the method of develop QTE.Develop network client, querying data from server and give user a well interface.
