With the coming of 21 century, computer technology comes into a new stage full of opportunities and challenges, that is the post-PC times. In this times, embedded system has became the mainstream instead of PC, and various digital products have became the main tools for information handling. Along with the quick extension of embedded application field, it request more higher performance and more chipper price embedded OS, Linux is the most attractive one for its source opening, various hardware platform supporting and plenty of application program provision. Porting Linux into embedded field is heatedly discussed in academe recently, and it's just the theme of this paper.Intelligent sensor networks are currently the direction of a sensors'development. The chance of Independent using of a single sensor will be fewer and fewer. More multi-sensor systems are used to realize multi-parameter measurement and control of many objects. Various types of fieldbus-based intelligent sensor network does not exist a unified interface. International Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE) and the United States National Bureau of Standards and Technology (NIST) launched the United IEEE1451 network of smart sensor interface standard to solve the problem of non-uniform. With a wide range of sensor applications, the requirements of wireless sensor is more prevalent. Faced with the wireless sensors'requirement of network and intelligent, IEEE and NIST launch the protocol of the IEEE1451.5. The provisions of the unlimited means of communication is too complex, requiring developers to know the specific wireless communication protocol process, thus increasing the difficulty of developing. After studying Series IEEE1451 protocol, I found that as long as replacing the TII by the way of wireless communications can meet the requirements of intelligence, network, andstandardization.In this paper, I Designed a data adapter system in line with the norms of TII. based on the ARM S3C2410. Transparent wireless serial modules are used in thi paper, actualizing the intelligent and wireless technology. useing the methods of UART communication. This paper totally includes six chapters. Contents are as follows:The first chapter is devoted to describe the development of sensors, as well as the subjects and the development of embedded systems.The second chapter describes the TII norms, analyzing the timing of reading and writing, developping a method that put the status of a line to a curtain bit in a byte. Then judging the status of a particular bit to implementof the serial TII. The third chapter Introduce the system's overall ideas of the hardware design. And I develop a temperature acquisiting circuit based on atmag8515. the paper has developed a wireless communication module based on the core board-level of Ling Feng company.Chapter four introduced the S3C2410 based on the ARM920T processor core, the hardware and software building method of Embedded system development environment, designing External interface circuit. Achieved a serial communication circuit, Reset circuit, Power conversion circuit, Network Interface Circuit.The fifth Chapter commplished the application software development. Including the software design of front modules for data acquisition and the application development based on Linux system. Paper has developed a general-purpose serial communication module, Multi-threaded program modules, Network Communication Module, And successfully integrated the various software modules together. Exper- iments show the application software can achieve wireless network communications. The final chapter is the whole paper's summary.
