Nowdays, with the standard of living improved, people tend to purchase carpet with good quality, and this current will go on performancing perfectly, the thread with better quality is needed. However, as the domestic carpet manufactures are all small scale and short of capital, they can't afford advanced production line, and then, they all choose to upgread their lines with introducing in advanced technology. This research comes of this condition. This research is to upgrade a polypropylene spinning production line of a carpet company.Polypropylene spinning production line has high speed circumvolve roller with alterable temperature, the temperature should be displayed and controlled. The normal way to detect temperature couldn't work on the high speed circumvolve rooler. Now Mercury and slide-loop are generally used to detect temperature of high speed circumvolve roller. Mercury can easily pollute environment and can't get higher precision. The slide-loop is like dynamotor's brush, as it has friction contact, can't work with violent vibration, it may generate noise during working, and can't get higher precision. In order to resolve these problems, based on the older mechanical equipment this research introduced MCU control technology, ADC technology, wireless communication technology and PLC control technology. The system realized wireless control with high precision and good stability.In order to get these goals, this paper raise some research means: confirm integrated control mode, hardware system design, software system design, field debugging and hardily test.Confirm integrated control mode. Firstly, this paper have analysed basal working process of the spinning machine, then, analysed the primary temperature control system of the machine, and raised its shortage, and couldn't satisfied of modernization manufacture. In order to resolve these problems, this research introduced wireless temperature control system based on infrared ray, then introducing its theory to discuss the integrated control mode. During the control mode, raise the structure of the mode and it is composing by two parts, the wireless emission module and wireless receive module. The two parts worked together to accomplish the task of the system. The wireless emission module change the analog signals to digital signals and emit the signals. The emitted signals are received by wireless receive module and sent to PLC to control the temperature. The two modules are related by communication agreement, the signals'wireless emission based on infrared ray, and this paper discussed its stability and efficiency, achieved wireless temperature's control.Research on hardware of the system, the hardware theory of each part is discussed based on control mode, paving way for its designing. This paper discussed detailedly the hardware of every part, confirmed the model of the chip and how to use them. The hardware system is composing by wireless temperature emission part and wireless temperature receiver part, the most important point is the choice and use of the MCU. The MCU as the center of the integrated system, considering the fuction of different MCU, this system adopt PIC16F716 MCU, according to the MCU to confirm the peripheral hardware, then finish the total hardware design. Considering this system working in bad condition, should choose hardware with good quality and could work stability with a wide temperature range.Research on software of the system, designing software is based on control mode and hardware system. The center part of this system is PIC16F716 MCU, the software part is based on PIC16F716 MCU. As like the hardware system, the software system is composed by wareless temperature emission part and wireless temperature receive part. The most important part of the software is wireless communication agreement, make sure the data correctly transmission. The MCU of this system have A/D and PWM fuctions, so they two should accomplished by software.The function testing of this system have been divided to two parts, firstly, debug the wireless emission part and receiver part in laboratory, make sure the hardware is proper, and software could reach the demand, finished the testing in laboratory. Then take the field debugging, confirm the parameters to make sure the system gets the best precision. Lastly, take the fatigue testing in different situation, make sure the system could work with good stability.This paper combines research on theory with practice, and the fuction of the control system is satisfied with the goal raised on this research, and reaches the demand of spinning technics. This studying experience will be the basis for improving the system, add additional functions to make this system perfectly.
