Research Of Ad Hoc Networks Management Protocol Based On ANMP

Ad Hoc networks are multi-hop and no-centre networks, which are composed of a group of wireless mobile nodes or terminals cooperating with other nodes. The task of Ad Hoc network management includes network planning, initialization, configuration, performance analysis and monitoring, which ensure the effectiveness,stability and reliability of Ad Hoc networks. managing Ad Hoc networks is a great hard task for lack of supporting fundamental equipments and dynamically topology changing.This paper analyzes the methods of implementing Ad Hoc network management based on ANMP, specially discusses its security mechanism and its necessary cost. A method of distributed key management based on asymmetry key systerm are presented, the ways of key creation, the mechanisms of three-handshake authentication and the policy of encryption in public key are mainly discussed. Additionally, a scheme for the assignment of cluster heads and their management functions for distributed Ad Hoc networks management is proposed. By this scheme the management tasks of whole Ad Hoc network are distributedly performed and cost of management information transmission is obviously reduced. finally a distributed network management system using this schenme is designed and implemented.
