With the rapid development of city modernized construction and the continual improvement of people's living standard, we bring forward higher demand for the quality of city heating. Population's increase and energy's decrease make the energy problem widely concerned by all ranks in society. But automatic degree is not high and the equipment is low efficiency in our heating boiler control system. Moreover energy is wasted and that caused relative environment problem. So improving the heating system's automatic level has remarkable economic and social benefit.This paper research on the hot water boiler control system which is widely used in the heating system. Because boiler has the characteristic of nonlinear, unstable parameters and exact math model unknown, this thesis designs a kind of adaptive fuzzy controller which is applied into heating boiler system combined with classic fuzzy control theory. The simulations based on MATLAB indicate that this controller has strong adaptive capability and better dynamic and steady performance, so it is effective to the non-linear target.This system makes use of PLC, IPC and configuration software that improve the reliability. Applying the adaptive fuzzy control and high performance hardware not only realize the boiler's automatic control but also reduce the energy consumption and enhance the management.
