Study Of QLTV's Media Asset Management

In recent years, with the high-speed broadband cable television network rollout, high-definition television's emergence and the rapid growth in the number of home Internet connection for the signs, radio and television industries "digital era" has arrived.This means that a media-competition-pattern tremendous changes. That is to say, the content- core business model gradually taking shape.Traditional media asset preservation model is the library type. That is to say ,put the audio tape on the shelves account the contents or the time, and when you need ,you have to search it on the shelves.On the other hand ,most television stations have set up their own production networks and broadcast networks,there were also many stations established their own television broadcast system drives, but these systems are independent, you will find that though production and broadcast system have been digital, but not unified format,. This is a waste of human and material resources,and is not true digital management. Even a lot of valuable information with long, as long-term exposure to the air, faced with a lot of out magnetic oxide, and other issues. some have not even to reuse. So some of the televisions have been aware the important meaning of the media asset management system. This paper focused on QLTV's applications,study the concept and content of the domestic television media asset management. The focus is QLTV's media assets management needs under the present situation. Trying to design a new management strategy focus on the interview, editing, production, broadcast, management, storage, retrieval and functional management strategy base on Computer, network and multimedia storage technology of mining, compilation system, sowing, the depositors, something cable integration,The goal is to give some guidance to the television industry's asset management activities.The first chapter in this paper introduced the thesis' research background, significance, the main contents and methods.The second chapter describes the media-management system application Research Status , study Status, research focus, and relate to the technical background and knowledge managementChapter 3,4,5 is the core part of this paper . Chapter 4 introduces QLTV's media asset management improvement program's Design ideas and Overall structure The fifth chapter details of the system design of the content management subsystem, content storage subsystem, system management subsystem, which exchange information developed subsystems, and retrieval subsystem released from the functional design. This system has provided schemes for the management of media asset during its working life, and will satisfy the demand on collecting, storing, querying, compiling of the user, which will achieve the object to store the media asset safely and fully and to reuse the asset in low costing.At last the authors introduced QLTV MAMS improvement scheme Assurance measure in implemented,the system's features and draw relevant conclusions.MAMS is the goal of the constructing for digital and networked broadcaster operations, and also the basic of the developing of services in the future. Maybe there are various shortcomings in my thesis due to time constraints, but I will continue to study this issue.
