Next generation system of editing and broadcasting will be highly based on MAM system and network in most TV stations. As the technique of digital compressing, digital storage and network rapid developing, the MAM technique is starting to be brought in TV stations. The former mode of editing, storage and broadcasting are changing, the advantage of MAM technique is obvious in fields such as digital program storage, program inquiring and transmission and so on. Taking it as a long term strategy for digital TV, TianJin TV station decided to set up a digital TV platform, getting across it, the efficiency of program is increasing rapidly, the resource of channels and the ability for more business are enlarging. It will bring TianJin digital TV a whole new opportunity.This essay, associated with the construction of digital platform in TianJin TV station, discuss the application of MAM system based MAM techniques in this platform.Through the introduction of structure designing for this platform, the essay focuses on how to connect three subsystem (Editing, MAM and Broadcasting) to a whole system based on MAM subsystem.In addition, this essay also introduces the key technology such as distribute storage, network construct designing, storage management and content management technology which applied to the digital TV platform.This essay studies the solutions for how to store digital program; how to make a spare program part automatically. This essay puts its emphasis in talking about the connective solutions from the subsystems, that make the strategy comes true first in digital TV platforms , such as automatically send broadcasting list and program file to the broadcasting subsystem; automatically delete the program files after broadcasting. Then, the essay particularly gives the solution to the intellective monitor and controller; automatically gives an alarm in MAM system, it gives the necessary secure protection to avoid the pressure of editing and risks of broadcasting.
