Designing And Realizing Data Exchanging Among Heterogeneous Databases Base On Web

With the enterprise informationization developing, the resource of software and hardware upgrading and the variety of application expanding, the heterogeneous problems of database systems emerge more and more seriously. And the heterogeneous shows as follows: different data models, different products in the same model and different versions in the same product In order to save cost and apply the existing information resource more effectively, heterogeneous database often has to be translated and moved among internal and external enterprises. On the other hand, these heterogeneous databases are located at different place and connected at different networks. Therefore, how to construct the exchanging platform of heterogeneous databases and how to communicate the result of transforming data among different place are the key technology. Moreover, the platform is for Web application and the relational databases are dominant in business, this paper mainly discusses data exchanging among heterogeneous relational databases based on Web.XML has emerged as the dominant standard data exchange formats for Internet-based business applications, so it is first technology selected. This paper takes XML as a public model and studies the conversion technology among heterogeneous relational database systems by means of reversible conversion between relational and XML, and this process keep on entity integrity constraints of source database. Moreover, the SOAP technology is based on XML, and it parses and transplant XML document easily. So we emphasize the communication mechanisms based on SOAP and explain how to use SOAP to implement the communication for cross platform.. This thesis makes three main contributions.
