It could be called a revolution that applying laser on manufacture.Instead of the mechanical knife,laser cutting uses the invisible laser beams as cutting tools.Compared with the traditional mechanical cutting, the laser online cutting is an untouched and no-wear cutting process which highly reduced the consumption of routine maintenance due to knife replacement and highly improved the productivity.In addition,the laser cutting adopts scanners in cutting process which makes the cutting system easily adapt different product lines and cutting requirements through flexible control of the scan process.This article is focus on the design of a real-time embedded control system for online laser cutting of packaging paper.Since the requirement of high speed, high precision and high stability in the industry production,the control system has to possess the ability of quick response,precise control and error disposal. Aimed at this design target,the following research contents and results have been discussed:⑴made a detailed requirement analyse of control system, specified the control tasks and designed a simple interact process of human and control system.⑵According to the system requirement,the device choosing process has been discussed and the hardware platform based on the 8051 micro controller has been constructed.⑶In software modeling,the cocurrent and hiberarchy state machine has been adopted which made an accurate analyse of system behaviors.⑷Designed a software architecture of real-time system,cooperate scheduler plus ISR Preemption,which well balanced the system complexity against the quick response ability.The architecture is effective in most control system, especially in small embedded system which has limited resources.⑸Two arithmetics,segment compensation arithmetic and datum line locate plus realtime locate adjusting arithmetic,has been designed to solve the compensation and locating problem in cutting process.
