As the fast development of modern industry, laser triangulation sensor is widely used in a lot of areas of industry. The augmented optical distance measurement system by integrated vision capability with rotational symmetrical feature can overcome the inherent shortages of the traditional sensor. So research for the augmented sensor is very important to the future industry.Developing system software and fast algorithms on DSP embedded platform are main work of this thesis for improving the speed and precision of the sensor.The main work of this thesis includes:(1)Configure the DSP/BIOS as the real time operation system and design a device driver for the CMOS sensor and video port under DDK. In the driver the Bayer pattern color is converted to RGB color.(2)From multi-aspects such as memory system software pipelines and program structure to optimize the program.(3)For switch among different functions of the sensor, a self-auto load system is designed on the DSP platform.(4)Design fast algorithms to improve the performance for the sensor.(5)Do some experiments to test system software and fast algorithms.
