Power manage products are widely used in the whole electronic industry andthey are the most important part of electronic products. This paper carries out aDCM-CPM Boost DC-DC converter which meets the specification.In the designing of the DCM-CPM Boost DC-DC converter, this paperpresents a circuit design based on the theory of PWM control mode andpeak-current control mode. Then the analysis of the whole chip structure andsub-circuits is presented in which voltage reference and OTA sub-circuits areemphasized on. GA(Genetic Algorithms) has been introduced into analog circuitdesign, which automates the analog circuit design. The chip adopts standard CSMC0.6μm CMOS process. The input voltage ranges from 2.6V to 5V and the outputcurrent is 16mA. The chip contains a voltage reference which has high temperaturecharacteristic and operates from -40℃to 100℃with temperature coefficient4ppm/℃.Followed the design of circuit structure, each module and the whole circuit intop level have been simulated in Cadence Spectre simulator and the simulationresults meet the specification which validate the theory. |
