The Applications Of Safe-Web-Service In National Fencing Team Information Platform

Web service which is an open web standard technology is based on the XML. And, as the most important forms of service-oriented architecture, web service has been widely used in many areas,such as information sharing, resources sharing and so on.National fencing team information platform which is brought forward by science and research department of general administration of sport of China is the scientific research project of the 2008 Olympic Games. So far, we have established a national fencing team database which has a lot of historical information. How to use and share the data and information resources of national fencing team safely and effectively is the main topic for our discussion. In this paper, we use an integrated combination of encryption algorithm to develop a security data transmission module named WSSafeTransfer which can be used in the web service. Based on the WSSafeTransfer module and web service, we put forward our own solutions in view of data sharing and resource sharing according to objective conditions of national team.This paper describes the software development process first, and figures out the advantage of service-oriented architecture in the software building, deployment, and integration. Then, we have a detailed briefing on the related theoretical basis about web service architecture, key technologies, protocol stack and its advantages and characteristics. According to the actual requirements of national fencing team information platform, we develop a security Transmission Module --WSSafeTransfer module which can be used in web service. This paper further figure out the basic structure model and function framework of the fencing team information platform, and also describes the corresponding security programs and the solutions of the transmission of dataset which is a complex data type. According to an example of the biochemical and physiological module of our information platform, we display the realization of the web service, deployment and a process of a client server's design. In the end, summarization and unsolved problems of the paper are presented.
