The Research Of The Enterprise Products PDM System Based On The Teamcenter

PDM is used for documents management, products structure management, workflows management and other areas, and it is an important platform of enterprise informationization. Firstly, this paper discusses PDM technology, and its main features, with Teamcenter Express architecture, based on the need of implementation of the PDM, study the main modules of the Teamcenter Express. Complete the PDM system of the Taian Aerospace Special Vehicle Co., Ltd.The establishment of the system, solve the shortcomings of the existing manufacturing enterprises—data confusion, version unclear, enquiries difficulties and so on. This paper study the specific issues of the implementation of PDM, and the three models of implementation—the person management, product data, products configuring information. The workflow management was also discussed, from the perspective of the field of product engineering of the approval process and engineering change processes. And customize two processes in accordance with the actual situation of the enterprises. Finally, the PDM implementation was discussed in detail, the implementation of the preparatory work and the main contents.The PDM system manages all technical documentation, person information of products design and manufacturing process. It has solved the internal information islands of the enterprise, improving the management level and efficiency of product development, and enable enterprises to achieve global optimum.
