Research And Realization On Key Technologies Of Middleware In Equipment Support Information Integration

During the process of realizing PLA Material Support information, each Equipment Support department has developed their own application systems based on heterogeneous data sources. These applications are based on different platforms. It is very important for departments to integrate and share the data of these application systems. Because this can supply users with an integrated view of heterogeneous data and automate their equipment support processes.Based on data integration technology, this thesis mainly researches on the key technologies of middleware in material support information integration system with considering the characters of our army. At last, we develop a data integration environment which resolves the problem we interest in.The main works of this paper are as follows:(1) System architecture: The system designs data integration environment of data integration system based on middleware, which combines Mediator/Wrapper and data warehouse .(2) Designing a data sources management tool: It supplies a global management to the equipment support information system that the army is using and data sources that are related to design, manufacture and use during the life circle of weapon equipment. It implements the link and management between middleware and each equipment support system data sources. Moreover, it realizes the management and maintenance of data sources.(3) Research on schema integration technology based on common data model(CDM): this paper studys CDM and data model related to each kind of equipment support information systems, and chooses HDM as its CDM, which can transform relational model, UML model, XML model, ER model to HDM model.(4) The construction of global data dictionary about equipment support: This paper standardizes equipment support information by constructing global data dictionary to capture data semantics. Furthermore, the data dictionary describes relations among equipment support information elements to express and manage the contents of equipment support information and their relations.At last, the paper chooses equipment information that one army stored in different departments and different databases as heterogeneous data sources, develops a prototype system and achieves their integration.
