With the development of the electronic technique and the internet, the embedded systems have been widely used in industrial management and smart appliance. Meanwhile, higher level of capability and function has been required by multiple application of embedded system. To this extent, ARM have been widely recognized and applied. Embedded system is a professional system which is sophisticated and efficient and can meet the particular needs of the user. Based on standard Linux, enbedded Linux has been simplified appropriatly and added certain functions. So, it has the feature that it can be configured and clipped by user. Characterized by the properties that good structure, high efficiency, fine stability and opening original codes, embedded Linux has become the technical hotspot among massive applications of embedded system.In this case, the system characterized by embedded microprocessor ARM and embedded operation system Linux has been designed in this paper. It has realized applicable software, transplanted web server, constructed an embedded data acquisition and promulgate system. It can gather data with serial port and promulgate them through internet.To achieve these functions, after analyzing the development of ARM, EP9302 (ARM920T) which from Cirrus logic company as the core of this system has been chosen. Then transplanted embedded operation system Linux whose original code is free. After that, the modules of data acquisition, data analysis and data exchange gateway have been created. It also transplanted embedded web server GoAhead and edited the self-supported ASP page and backstage function. Based on what have been mentioned, the methods which have been used in the system to guarantee the reliability has been validated. The system has highlighted the advantages of Linux that it has high capability of transplanting and the original code is free. It has been solved series of problems companied with the software transplanting, the applicable software design and compilation and thus enhanced the reliability of the system.The collection platform of this embedded system is used to make real time collection of the information of the operation condition of the being monitored equipments, allow the user to manage the running of the being monitored equipments remotly through web browser and do relative operation and parameter setting if there is a need. Therefore, the running pattern of facilities can be controlled. The design of data collecting and issueing system in this paper can be widely used in the systems similar tothose of remote control.
