The Research & Design Of MCXO And Its Production Testing System

With the rapid development of the information technology, the demand for the new type of MCXO with the high capability, such as stable frequency, small volume, wider temperature range, is growing. Achieving the automation of MCXO's production is the most effective way to ensure the product quality, increase the production efficiency and meet the market demand. The MCXO production testing system is an automated test and control equipment which aims at matching this new type of MCXO.This paper designs a new type of MCXO by using the combination of two compensation algorithms and selecting controlled temperature-voltage compensation circuit. Meanwhile, based on the advantages of three MCXO testing systems, an automated testing system which fits the new MCXO is developed by designing the control software and hardware.The experimental results show that the new MCXO and its production testing system are feasible. The MCXO achieves the required performance. The system runs stably and its double production line not only enhances the capacity but also increases the production efficiency significantly.
