The Design Of The Industry Produce Automatic Test System Of Microcomputer Compensated Crystal Oscillator

With the rapid development of the information technology, the market demand ofthe microcomputer compensated crystal oscillator(MCXO) which have the advantagesof much higher frequency stability, smaller package and wider working temperaturerange becomes more and more. As the result of the technical characteristic of theMCXO, the success rate and productivity of MCXO manually produced is very low.So, it is urgent to design a computer control system which can automatically produceand test MCXO in great force to satisfy the market demand.This paper designed a MCXO test system with the method of computercontrolling and communication according to the demand of "HUA JING BEI CHUANelectronics science limited liability company", the system can complete a batchproduction of 32.512MHZ MCXO. And it is also easy to use in the other differentfrequency MCXOs' batch production.This design builds a close-loop testing system with personal computer,MCXO,temperature chamber,a high-resolution frequency meter and interface circuit,viasregulating temperature chamber to simulate MCXOs' surrounding temperature, testsseveral (4to32)MCXOs' frequency-temperature characteristic at the same time indifferent temperature,creates MCXOs' temperature-voltage compensated tableaccording to the output of frequency meter, and processes data such as save,openand look in personal computer to carry out the MCXOs' batch production.The system design includes hardware design and software design.The mainresponsibility of the hardware is to connect personal computer to multi-MCXOs.Thesoftware is mainly in charge of offering operation interface,data processing,communication and so on.The results of experiment indicate the thought of the system design is feasibleand the performance is up to the demand of the client.
