Ball mill is the core equipment for grinding coal,metal and building materials.It is difficult to effectively adjust the working state of the ball mill due to the lack of reliable detection means to obtain the load state of the ball mill.The actual production process,most of the ball mill work in the low efficiency of the air mill or full grinding state,a lot of energy and supplies in this process was wasted.How to effectively identify the load condition of the ball mill is the key to improve its operating efficiency and reduce the production cost.Therefore,the ball mill load detection method of research and development of the detection system is very meaningful.In this thesis,the detection method used in the ball mill load detection system was studied in detail,and the methods are analyzed and compared.At the same time,based on the working principle and characteristics of the ball mill,a method based on the embedded technology is proposed,which is obtained by analyzing the frequency signal of the ball mill working frequency signal and finally obtaining the load state information of the ball mill.This paper focuses on the design of the software part of the load detection system.Load detection software data acquisition,human-computer interaction,system scheduling and other work by the OMAPL-138 processor ARM core is responsible for the completion.Specifically,through the embedded Linux embedded in the recording software to achieve the ball mill sound signal acquisition function;through the use of shared memory for data transfer method to achieve the embedded platform ARM core and DSP core data communication function;through Qt Program to achieve the system of human-computer interaction;use the client / server network architecture to achieve the system's network data transfer function;through the design of the corresponding Linux driver to achieve the system 4 ~ 20 mA industrial current output.Load detection software on the ball mill load state analysis and judgment by the completion of the DSP core.Using the DSP core in the mathematical operation of high precision,fast characteristics,through the grinding sound signal data for time domain filtering,time-frequency conversion,neural network analysis and other steps to obtain the ball mill load status information.After testing,the software part of the ball mill load state detection system is simple to use and stable,and can accurately check the negative load state of the ball mill.The feed quantity of the feeding machine and the addition amount of grinding ball can be effectively adjusted according to the detect result of the ball mill load state so as to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the ball mill.
