Writing Culture Research On News Lead Writing

The lead, which appeared from the 1860s with the"upside-down Pyramid"news structure, as the opening part of the news, its direct and visual function and important status are always be highly respected. Following with the time advancement, the social development, the report way of the lead updates continuously, the writing technique also keep moving toward to maturity. Regarding how to write a good news lead, journalism, linguistics, esthetics disciplines etc. all made research and exploration based on their own academic sight, and have obtained the beneficial research harvest. But most of these theories are only launched with a summary based on concrete news text to set instructional writing model, regarding why we need assign such a standard to the lead writing, and why the writing pattern plate can obtain writer's acceptance, or why the plate can get reader's approval, also what is the deep system it formed under the acceptance and approval, what is the essential controlling strength, it still has vacancy, which left a theory gap between the news writing instructional theory and the news writing practice. With the purpose of being a bridge from lead writing research to lead writing practice, this thesis tries to adopt a new view of writing cultural theory to launch into the lead research, and use relevant of writing cultural theory to make announced effort on lead writing research.The study of lead writing, which looks like"a small question", while in fact containing"a big article"research target.The first chapter: Raise the research target, indicate the research task. In this part ,the article is mainly give an explanation of lead report, and a pectination of lead's historical development, also an general illustration of the four fundamental types. Then , based on the indicated research aim, the article raised two major problems that exists in lead writing: slow step in time area and redundant in space., also explore the cause of the problems.The second chapter: following with the problem, this part draws out a theory tool on how to solve the problem, and provide an academic basic for spreading the following parts. In this chapter, it mainly introduces the essential core concept of writing theory, the expansion and construction of writing culture.However, in the news writing's research, the concept of"news culture"was already exist,. Hereby, the article also make a comparison between"the writing culture"and"the news culture", which indicate the theory superiority of"writing culture"and further enhanced the study validity.The third chapter: After brighten the powerful theory research weapon, this chapter launch into the series explanation. At the macroscopic view, it unifies writing culture's structure level and the lead text's creation step, analyse and illustrate each level separately so as to reveal the internal link between lead and writing culture.In the last part, chapter four, the article selects some typical lead material, On longitudinal line, it compares lead works of different times, analyzes its character and dig into its transitional causes; On transversal line, it compares lead works of identical theme but different writing modes, discusses its advantage and disadvantage from post-modern culture character. In the end , the article approaching the real activity of writing from a microcosmic view, offers a post-modern culture trend which suitable for nowadays, and a way of lead writing with space and time sentiment, in order to carry out the lead writing operation.
